I find myself completely intrigued by trees. There the objects that give us oxygen to our lungs, they feed us with life. i guess you could consider them to be a vital part of our survival. but this isnt what grabs my attention. its the forms in which they create. the intricate detail of the twisting branches, the effect of light, creating the most amazing shadows, the mystery they present to you through there old skins, and the overwhelming colour they bring to the world. I cant help but find myself constantly trying to replicate them in my sketches.
